Zoe Ginty

I grew up in the Lake District, surrounded by nature, but always wanted to live by the sea. Here in Dumfries and Galloway I get both in the one place…what an inspiring area.

Since moving to Dumfries and Galloway, I have developed my painting skills, and I now create original acrylic paintings, specialising in animal portraits.

I love the creative process, and getting to know the subjects of my studies. Completing a one off commission of someone’s loved pet, or favourite animal, makes me feel so privileged and happy.

2023 sees me taking on a new challenge here at Artist and Makers Pop Up shop at Castle Douglas, where you will find a mixture of original acrylic paintings, and prints and cards of some of my work.
