Our Shops

We currently have three shops in Castle Douglas, Gatehouse of Fleet and Kirkcudbright.  Each has its own character hosting between them over forty of the finest artists and makers in our region.

Castle Douglas

Our shop in Castle Douglas is at the heart of the town, on the busy main street.

Meet the Artists

Gatehouse of Fleet

Our Gatehouse shop is in a large gallery space on the Top Floor (lift available) of The Mill on the Fleet, a beautiful restored cotton mill on the banks of the River Fleet.

Opening hours

Currently CLOSED for the winter. 
The Shop, along with the rest of The Mill will re-open for the 2024 season on 25th March.

Every day 10am – 4pm during the season – late March to end October

Also at this visitor centre are: Exhibitions; Tourist Information; a large second-hand bookshop; dog friendly café; riverside terrace. There is a lift to all floors.
