Shedsewn

I’m a self-taught machine embroiderer and quilter, only having threaded the sewing machine I bought at an auction for £5 for the first time in 2012. I’ve always loved interior design and making colours ‘pop’, and this is reflected in my quilts and other handmade items. Since starting to sew, I haven’t stopped and am lucky enough to have an insulated shed at the bottom of our garden in Auchencairn, Dumfries and Galloway, where I stitch whenever I can. I often get distracted by the garden birds and they have become a theme for my embroidery.
