Pete Machell

Pete Graduated in Architecture in Edinburgh a long time ago in 1975. Looking for a more design-intimate direction, he studied Woven Textiles and set up a Weaving Workshop in the Pentland Hills. This developed into joining the victorian Woollen Mill at Knockando in Speyside, designing for, and working the 100 year old industrial machines. Later Pete set up a  Graphic Design, Print, Signmaking enterprise which evolved into working in industrial sign companies in and around Inverness and Elgin. Back to textile design, with a designer knitwear studio, and most recently designing and manufacturing in his furniture and joinery workshop most recently upgraded with CAD Design and CNC Routing technology.

    Hi Pete,
We met on Monday at the shop…
Do you know if we have an accident book at the PA shop?
I ask because I hit my head quite badly on the corner of a shelf. Bad enough to go into shock & for Kate to get a cold compress!
Tom urged me to follow this up.
I’m ok apart from horrible bruising but if potential customers had an accident it could be serious.
    Best wishes
    Sue
